Today there are 500 days left in Mark Sanford's term. 500 days left of more layoffs, of no new jobs, of less education funding. 500 days of doing nothing on the economy, of wasting taxpayer money. 500 days of more frustration, of gridlock, of Sanford.

Last week I called on the the state's four constitutional officers - the Attorney General, the Secretary of State, the Comptroller General and the State Treasurer to declare Mark Sanford "unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office" and call for his removal.

Hundreds of you joined in signing the petition echoing my call.

Today we're having a little fun with it and keeping things going by releasing this "(500) Days of Sanford" video that parodies the summer movie "(500) Days of Summer." Give it a look.
